Frequently asked questions
Getting started
How do I add a medication?
Tap Add on the Medications screen. You can scan the prescription label with your camera, or enter it manually. After a scan, check every detail (name, strength, and directions) before you save. Scans can make mistakes.
How do I log a dose?
On the Today screen, tap Log Dose when you take it, or Skip if you're not taking it. Your adherence rings update right away.
I'm not getting reminders.
- Open iPhone Settings › Notifications › Meds AI and make sure Allow Notifications is on.
- Check that a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode isn't silencing the app.
- Make sure the medication has a reminder time set (Medications › the med › Edit).
- Keep the app updated, and open it now and then so reminders stay scheduled.
The camera scan doesn't work.
Allow camera access in Settings › Meds AI › Camera. For best results, use good light, hold the label flat, and fill the frame. You can always enter the medication manually instead.
History, trackers and reports
What do "taken", "missed" and "late" mean?
Taken means you logged the dose. Late means you logged it after the reminder window. Missed means no dose was logged. Your adherence % is the share of scheduled doses you logged over 7 days, 30 days, or a custom range.
How do I share a report with my doctor?
Go to Profile › Reports, choose a date range, and export a PDF or send it by email (MyMeds+). You choose who receives it.
What can I track besides medications?
Pain, dizziness, nausea, sleep, and weight. Go to Profile › Track. It's a simple way to bring notes to your next appointment.
Care Team
How does the Care Team work?
You can invite a family member or caregiver. With your permission, they can see your medication information and get an optional alert if a dose is missed. Only invite people you trust. You can remove someone at any time.
MyMeds+ subscription
What does MyMeds+ include?
- Unlimited medications
- AI smart reminders that adjust to when you actually take your meds
- Side effect and interaction alerts (for information only)
- Doctor-ready reports with PDF and email export
- Secure cloud backup and sync
- Family care mode
How much does it cost and how does renewal work?
MyMeds+ is available monthly or yearly. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
On your iPhone, open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Meds AI. You can switch between monthly and yearly or cancel there. If you cancel, you keep MyMeds+ until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
I switched phones and lost MyMeds+.
Sign in with the same Apple Account and Meds AI account, then open the MyMeds+ screen and tap Restore Purchases.
How do I get a refund?
The App Store handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Account and privacy
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing support@mymeds.site from the email address on your account. This permanently deletes your account and data. Remember to cancel any subscription separately in iPhone Settings, because deleting your account does not cancel it.
Who can see my information?
You, and anyone you invite to your Care Team. We don't sell your data or show ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.
